Prof. Dr. Steffen H. Hütter

studied economics at Saarland University, graduating with a Dipl.-Kfm. in 2000. Until 2004 he worked as a research associate at Saarland University, where he received his doctorate in 2006 on the subject of "Reducing procurement costs". Until 2007, he also was a project manager at Robert Bosch GmbH.

He taught Production Management at the Albstadt- Sigmaringen/Baden-Württemberg University of Applied Sciences until 2010, before taking over the professorship for business administration, in particular production, logistics and procurement at the Faculty of Economics of the Saarland University of Applied Sciences in April 2010. At the same time he founded the Qbing research group.

Since 2014, Professor Hütter is heading the Faculty of Economics at htw saar as Dean and founded Qbing Industrial Solutions GmbH together with three engineers in 2017.

studied electrical engineering at Saarland University, specializing in communications and high frequency technology, where he also received his doctorate in 1995 in the field of novel receiver architectures for mobile radio. From 1995 to 2004 he worked at Motorola Halbleiter in Munich and Toulouse as a system engineer in the development and realization of analog and digital receiver ASICs.

Since 2004 he has been teaching high frequency- and transmission technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Saarbrücken and is head of the electrical engineering course of studies. His research focuses on software defined radio transceiver architectures, RFID-technology, contactless inductive data- and power transmission, antenna- and RF-design and the implementation of digital algorithms in real time. He is head of the research group RI-ComET.
